·         Designing the questionnaire

The questionnaire designed for gathering data was created on http://freeonlinesurveys.com website. The url of the questionnaire is bit.ly/RWNtbU

The respondents were asked the following questions:

Ø  Age  (in intervals of 5,<20,20-25,25-30,30-35,>35)

Ø  Gender  (M/F)

Ø  Degree being pursued in IIT(B-Tech, M.Sc,  MS, MBA, MHRM, M.Tech, PhD, Others)

Ø  Does your mobile phone support GSM, GPRS or i-WAP? (Yes/No)

Ø  Do you operate Mobile Banking? (Yes/No)

Ø  What is your reason for using or not using Mobile Banking ?

Ø  Which bank are you enrolled with for Mobile Banking? (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Punjab National Bank, Axis Bank, United Bank of India, Central Bank of India, UCO Bank, Canara Bank, Other or Not Applicable)

For the next questions, the respondent has to select one of the following-

Strongly Agree, Agree, Neutral, Disagree, Strongly Disagree, Not Applicable

Ø  I think Mobile Banking is secure

Ø  I think that Mobile banking is a convenience service

Ø  I think that  Mobile banking is easy to operate

Ø  I am aware of the benefits and risks from using Mobile banking

Ø  Using Mobile banking makes it easier for me to utilize banking services

Ø  Mobile Banking providers are known to be reliable

Ø  Mobile Banking providers have a good reputation in the market

Ø  I am familiar with checking my account balances through my mobile device

Ø  I am familiar with obtaining financial information through my mobile device

Ø  I am familiar with paying bills through my mobile device

Ø  Is it easy to pay through mobile phone than ATM or other channels

Ø  I would recommend others to use Mobile Banking

Ø  Overall I am satisfied with the Mobile banking service provided by my bank

·         Gathering data

The data was gathered from students studying different courses in IIT Kharagpur through the survey.A total of 33 responses were collected.

·         Analysis of data

This involved analysis of the gathered data using Preprocess and Cluster in WEKA.
